Why Reading the Great Books Matter

In this lecture of Literary Tales we offer up a defense of the Great Books of the Western tradition with Homer and Dante and why you it is important to read the great books for the health of your life. My own book, The Odyssey of Love, covers the great books from Homer to Tolstoy in greater detail.
