In this episode of Literary Tales, we begin an exploration of the “myths and symbols” of American Literature: The Scarlet Letter, Last of the Mohicans, and Moby Dick. We base this study of American literature on the theme of “innocence lost” and the “myth and symbol” school of literary criticism.
